Our commitment
The European Association for the defence of Human Rights (AEDH) is a European network of more than 30 member organisations and individual members. Founded in 2000, the association defends and promotes human rights in the European Union. AEDH is working for a democratic Europe that guarantees freedoms and rights of all without discrimination. It defends not only civic and political rights but also economic, social and cultural rights.
Our priorities for 2018
3 main working areas

By organising online debates with experts and human rights activists and holding conferences in Brussels with human rights defenders from across Europe.

By training trainers on "How to answer bumper sticker argumentation" and encouraging the exchange of best practices between member organisations.

By organising exploratory meetings with organisations in Slovakia and Slovenia but also bilateral meetings and conference with human rights in Serbia and Montenegro.
