On April 22, 2013 five decisions on the merits of the European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) concerning pension schemes in Greece became public. In these cases, registered on 2 January 2012, trade union claimants argue that the recent legislation introduced by the Greek government from May 2010 modifying both public and private pension schemes, constitute a violation of Article 12§3 (right to social security) of the Social Charter.
