MEPs call Italian authorities to stop taking fingerprints of Roma - 10 July 2008

In its resolution of July 10th, 2008, European Parliament condemns the actions taken by Italian authorities to take fingerprints of Roma, including minors, who reside in Italy. This measure clearly constitutes an act of discrimination directly based on ethnicity.
