LDH (France) : A tramway for Roma people : the Government sinks into disgrace - 2 September 2011

In Saint-Denis, on August 31st, after Roma families from Romania have seen their shantytown evacuated, they were cramed into a tram train by police forces until reaching Noisy-le-Sec station and then, were forced to take the rapid transit train for Paris suburbs which aimed at making them leave the department.

The French Human Rights League condemns this action and as a consequence, decided to refer the case to the French Defender of Rights.
