A voluntary European quality framework for social services - 6 October 2010

The European Protection Committee encourages, through this document, the Member States and the European Union to propose a common definition of social services of general interest (SSGI) to ensure access to quality SSGI and to ensure a balanced cost-effectiveness report for social welfare services.

It offers an appropriate methodology and a set of instruments inspired by various EU initiatives to create a common framework in SSGI.
