You want to act for Human Rights within the EU and its policies? You can support AEDH actions by being an individual member of AEDH or politically and financially supporting us The European Association for the Defence of Human Rights (AEDH) acts for the universal, indivisible and effective recognition of the fundamental rights of all European Union residents. The objectives of AEDH comprise the following: advocating human rights before European institutions, standing up against and denouncing violations of rights, reporting and disseminating information, fostering encounters and exchanges, with the purpose to build a democratic Europe which embodies rights equality and effectiveness for the 500 million people who live there. An associate member of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), AEDH gathers Human Rights organisations from the European countries and individual members. Individual members are represented by two delegates in AEDH’s Board, can participate in thematic working groups linked to the priorities set by the General Assembly and financially support AEDH by their contribution/donation. Making a donation to AEDH means contributing to cover one third of the operating grant obtained from the European Commission: 1 € from AEDH can assert 3 € in our application. How to make a donation: There is no minimum amount. You can make a donation by mail, online or via the Fonds Interculturel Luxembourgeois (Luxemburg Intercultural Fund).
